D WAY MATH SOLUTIONS

 The perimeter of a rectangle is 35cm. The ratio of the length of the rectangle to it's width is 3:2. Calculate the dimension of the rectangle. (WASSCE NOVEMBER, 2001)  Solution as seen in the image below: 

 A solid Cone of height 56cm and base diameter 51cm is formed from a Cylinderical drum equal in height and diameter with the Cone.  Find the volume of the remaining part of the drum.  Solution as seen in the image below:
